Mary McCaslin was a wonderful singer. I first heard her singing on WFDU Traditions and was hooked, buying all her CDs. I agree with everything that has been said about her voice, performance and guitar tunings in the New York Times obituary. If you haven't heard her sing, look up the postings on the Internet. You'll be glad you did. She leaves a legacy of fine recordings behind her. Thank you Mary. I have added her name to the "In Memoriam" thread and send my condolences to all those who know and love her. RIP
