The question was does the Alcotec flavouring actually work with any degree of success.

It depends on what you mean by "success". I drink fresh ground coffee. Others are happy with instant but, for me, there is no comparison.

I can't imagine that flavoured vodka would be the same as the real thing but, as Nigel said, you might find that you enjoy the result anyway. It could be fun trying and you would still have most of a bottle of vodka if it didn't work out.
