Guest, you misrepresent me by not making it clear that the line you quote is one that I QUOTED from an eventbrite blurb about a talk by Lady Nairne biographer Freeland Barbour. If I had actually written it myself, perhaps I would have remembered the name "Carolina Oliphant" when I heard it on the radio yesterday (perhaps not). In fact, when first I heard the name mentioned, I thought the speaker said "Carolina Alexander."
