When I was looking for jobs in 1971, I took the FSEE exam... and was offered 'something' in the US Postal Service... in Dallas. Turned it down, as I knew I'd get in trouble voting in Texas. I had a job as a Bean Counter once... I suppose I could have kept it, but... cycle inventory at Stoke-Van Camps cannery.
