This is John, Guy's brother, and I am sad to report that Guy passed away at 1pm today at the IMC hospital. He was plagued by multiple medical problems including those of the lungs, heart, and kidneys. He was admitted to the ICU yesterday afternoon and he didn’t respond to the treatments. Every time he visited the IMC hospital, including yesterday, we were impressed with the concern and expertise his caregivers provided him. At the end he was surrounded by close friends and family including his daughter, who is in New Zealand. We plan to have a celebration of Guy’s life in the late spring, keep an eye out for the details. Thanks again to all of you who sent your well-wishes and encouragement. Included here is a link to some of Guy’s amazing music. We will miss him.
