Jed, as you know, I've been playing with and without fingerpicks for years (45+). I've discovered that super glue, carefully applied on the tips - after a break or before - has kept me playing. Super glue keeps me from the acrylic blues and the fake nail shake. I've tried 'em all. The aforementioned Alaska Pics are better at down strumming than the typically used "reverse" fngerpicks, but either can be usd in that manner with practice.
