She was born in England, and was a British Citizen from the moment of her birth. She grew up in England and was educated in English schools. At 15 she was groomed and/or "radicalised" and transported to Syria.

Declaring that her British citizenship can be taken away and that she is a citizen of. Bangladeshi Desh, a country she has never been to,, on the grounds that her family came from there, is an appalling act of irresponsibility on the part of the British State, one which it has hard to envisage any other country having the brass neck to carry out. In no way can it be suggested that BanglanDesh bears any responsibility for anything she may have done. That responsibility still lies with Britain.

If there are grounds for claiming she has been guilty of criminal activity while living in the territory controlled by Isis, that should be tested in a criminal court, and that should happen in this country.
