The Oliver Hood song is the same tune but with different words these words have all out of business. in 1939 Paul Rise wrote this when his wife was ill. Marvin Taylor and the surviving first recorded the words we know today. After reading this history Jimmie Davis wrote many others but not You Are My Sunshine. thankyou :)
