The closest you get to sexism is the odd risque line, but may or may not get a laugh depending on how late in the evening it is and how much drunk everyone is. I think most singers find 'saucy' double-entendre songs a bit naff these days as it happens - both young and old that is quote

your opinion and is of course a generalisation,
some double entendre songs are good some are not. if i was to say that all songs about poaching were naff that is equally silly.
However i think the rest of your post about young singers being with young people etc is spot on
