Peggy Seeger an awful banjo player that is ridiculous, she is a competent accompanist on banjo guitar and concertina, personally i thnk she is more than competent, but that is a matter of taste.
To be awful you have to be incompetent, she is not.
She is also a Songweriter who is respected
