Yes, I also have a double bed, a late-Victorian piece inherited from my father’s family. It’s what I’m sleeping on now, and thrashing around on. It will stay in the larger bedroom, on the windward side of the house, and I will move back into the smaller bedroom on the leeward side. Sheets for twin or single beds are often marked down at the end of the season when the much more popular queen-sized sheets are sold out.
