The Songwainers Argo Records ZFB 31 (LP, UK, 1971) Musicians: Ron Taylor: tenor; Ken Langsbury: baritone; Dave Stephenson: bass https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cgl--skKjYM Songwainers John Barleycorn; This again is our own arrangement, taken from Fred Jordan's text, and set to a popular C19 harvest hymn-tune " "Wir Pflugen und Wir Streuen" and set to a tune attributed to J.A.P. Schulz (1747-1800). The idea to set the words to this tune came from Ken Langsbury's brother, Lionel.
