The Swedish movie with "Baby Shark", Selma & Johanna : - en roadmovie, was put in several children's movie festivals internationally. In 1997 in Frankfurt, Germany it won People's Choice and Honorable Mention at the Lucas-Festival. 1998 in won People's Choice in Montreal, Canada and Peoples Choice in Seoul, South Korea (at the MoMo film festival). With the film being played at children's film festivals in Germany and Korea and popular at those festivals, this would help explain why those two countries picked up the "Baby Shark" song.
