Mrr....the line is "packed the elusive prune." For a while, the local growers tried to market their produce as "California dried plums." That was a fiasco, and they're back to calling them prunes. And yes, if you want to be pedantic, I guess I have to say I'm from "plum picking and prune packing" country. Is that satisfactory? -Joe-
