I have noticed. I used to live in an Armenian part of Boston, meaning only that there are many Armenians in the suburb in which I lived, and I developed a longstanding sympathy with the horrible Armenian experience in Turkey. The independent Armenia seemed to be a happy development of the disintegration of the Soviet state. I was disappointed in the recent war there, and what seemed to me the mal support of Russia, Turkey, and Israel. Unfortunately, I don't have personal Armenian friends in Alaska to give me their takes, and I am woefully uneducated in the real history and any facts that would help me develop a better opinion. And to be fair, I know even less about the Azeris.
