The airship R-100 arrived in Saint-Hubert, Montreal in the early morning of August 1, 1930 after a voyage of almost 79 hours covering 3,364 miles (5,414 km). This was the first long-range international flight under the Imperial Airship Scheme. The airship stayed there for 12 days with over 100,000 people visiting the airship each day.
