Wynken, Blynken, and Nod

With a wink, Blinken Nods one night
   Sailed off in a metal ship,—
Sailed on a river of crystal light
   Into a sea of Jews.
"Where are you going, and what do you wish?"
   The old man asked with glee.
"I have come WITH A NUCLEAR SUB
   That swims in this beautiful sea;
   Nets of silver and gold have we,"
            Said
            Blinken
            And Nods.
So shut your eyes while leaders sing
Of horrible fights that be,
And you shall dream of beautiful peace
   As you rock in the misty sea
   Where the old wars rocked the statesman speaks
            said
            Blinken,with a wink
            and a nod.
