The English translation a couple of posts earlier doesn't read very well. Here's something a bit better, from Google translate (just of the Irish bits, not the Arabic refrain):

As the verses were written in or before 2004, the reference in the first line of the song to "Half a century under Israeli rule" can't be to the occupation after the 1967 war, but must be a reference to the founding of Israel in 1948. Had the Palestinians and the Arab states not rejected the United Nations partition plan, we would now be celebrating 75 years of an independent Palestinian state, living in peace with Israel.
