True-- I meant that LeMussurier was a dude that was around an accessible (how many people were on Newfoundland in 1912 anyway?!) and if he wrote the song it wasn't a big mystery to figure out. He's not an obscure or even dead person. Which begs the question of how Murphy would know that LeMussurier wrote it, 35 years prior. Something in a newspaper? Maybe. Or maybe everyone sees everyone in the pub in St. John's? Fewer than Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.
