Well, I'll be blowed! This message is coming to you from the new PC running Windows 11. The Win10 disk is still in there and is the default boot but I hope to switch over in the next week or so. At first it looked like I could either have Windows 10 accessing my (seperate) data disk and Windows 11 strugling with finding my old data or upgrade my existing Windows 10 drive to 11. The old 10 drive had so much crap on, I didn't really want to do the latter so I chose another option Clean install of Windows 10 on the new SSD. Set it up as I wanted it with multiple users and access to all the old data then upgrade to Win11. Seems to work but the jury (in the form of Mrs G) is still out! Once again, I'll keep you posted but for now I'm off to sample some Glenmorangie Solara to celebrate :-D
