Hello all - a while back I went to a folk club where a duo sang a song about telling the bees. I think the chorus included the lyric ‘you’ve got to tell it to the bees.’ It chronicled the life of a man who married and had children and became a widower, and there was a twist in the song when at the end the singer’s daughter Jane dies who was the only one left and he’s the only one left to tell the bees about it.
