A lovely,man with a great sense of humour. I was always impressed by his easy way with his audience, allied to his huge knowledge. He was a great correspondent with the late Ted & Ivy Poole of Swindon, who had a collection of his broadsides & his daily thoughts on events. The music will be a lot poorer for his loss- a great man RIP
