I spent an idle ten minutes trying to find out what type of bouzouki Ciarán uses but didn't get there, so I bow to your superior scholarship, Peter! I've seen Altan several times though not recently. They are absolutely one of the best live bands around. I used one of their tunes on my one-and-only CD twenty years ago (Mark Kelly's The Snowy Path). All done legitimately, I hasten to add!
