Saw this in ' The Journal Midweek 15th March '

Acknowledgements DISLEY- The Family of the late MALCOM DISLEY who died on 3rd March 2001 would like to thank everyone who sent cards, flowers and donations, Captain Kay and Colin Delamare for all their help and beautiful service,Elsie who came to see me, she gave me comfort.

The Paramedics who tried so hard to save his life, the Royal Bolton Hospital Emergency staff for all their help and consideration, the nurse from the hospital who came to see my husband and I who made us feel so much better when she said he did'nt suffer.

All his friends from his various folk clubs he helped to run and attended. The barge people with who he had such a wonderful holiday the weekend before he died.

The funeral director Paul Dainton and staff for their understanding and dignified funeral arrangements and all who attended the funeral.
