The Folklore Society of Greater Washington's annual Getaway weekend is coming up SOON! From Friday evening, Sept. 27 to Monday morning Sept. 30, we'll have a great weekend of singarounds, concerts, jamming and fun in a supportive environment at a beautiful Maryland riverside retreat. We have a fine lineup of special guests this year: Sally Rogers and Howie Bursen, Marcy Cochran, David Jones, and the fine West Virginia trio Bare Bones (Bill and Becky Kimmons and Dock Cutlip). All of these folks will be leading workshop sessions, doing concerts, and joining us for all the events -- planned and spontaneous -- of the weekend.
