Thanks to Lighter who has found that the U.S. Copyright Office asserts that the earliest Mel Bay publication of "Ashokan Farewell" was registered on July 6, 2010. PS This wouldn't be the first Mudcat thread to be taken down after Jack Campin's outbursts.
