Flower in the Snow by Allan Taylor, from Lines released 1988. Between 1986 and 1993, he was working towards his Ph.D. at Queen's University, Belfast. When Allan Taylor finished writing this song, he was not particularly impressed by the result. But his wife thought it had something special in it. He persevered with it - and she was right!
