There are two rarer songs to the tune of Oh Susannah that I found that were written in. One was a song called We keeping score of 1944, a song that was written in 1943 by Earl Robinson. The story goes that he had read a book on Steven Foster. Robinson met John Lomax when in 1943 he said to them I would like to record a protest song about second world war. Earl Robinso n is best known as the writer of I dreamed I saw Joe Hill and Black and White. His fame on songwriters like Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie.
