We have had frequent rain all this year and have not needed to water the garden on more than a couple of occasions, which has been a big relief as we have planted hundreds of trees in the last year. This has made a difference to the fruit though. Both our damson trees died, the cherry tree produced a huge crop as did the raspberries. All the other fruit has been considerably reduced and our rhubarb looks to be on its last legs (about 20 years old now). The onions and peas both have done well. Robin
