MoorleyMan Online clubs query - meetings via Apps? (2) RE: Online clubs query - meetings via Apps? 19 Sep 24

Short answer Suzy - no!
I've been running zoom folk clubs myself too since Covid days, and while zoom has its disadvantages it's proved efficient generally and it has the advantage that it's the easiest by far for users.
From all accounts, Discord is un-user-friendly, messy, clunky and awkward to use, and requires much more tech savvy than zoom for all parties.
My advice would be to gently solicit donations from your loyal regulars. It's a friendly gambit, and (depending on your size of clientele) usually gets at least a good measure of response if not the full cost of a zoom pro account.
Hope this helps some.
