I doubt any Martin nerd would call a OOO or OM a low-end guitar, especially if it is an OM-28V, refitted with bone, fossil ivory, and ebony. It doesn't have quite the boom of a D-28, but comes close and holds its own even in a harddriving bluegrass jam.
