Google Ngrams gives me Strangers in a Strange Land as a result. 73 pages matching "grok" in this book. After the computer UPS exploded two nights ago (wasn't Keb on target with her astrological warning!) I've replaced it and set up the computer and equipment again (there was a small explosion and fire but nothing damaged and the old unit is out in the driveway still).
