I was so ready to be finished with this cat gig, and her chart ends at lunch today. But I always ask just to be safe - "will you be home as you expected before their dinner time?" Nope. Got the schedule wrong again. Tomorrow. Good thing I left the yoga mat in the car, and at least I'm getting more regular workouts with my exercise subscription.

Looking through the closet where the holiday lights live I'm considering putting a few up in two front windows (in the past I've used suction cups with hoods on the glass - I don't know if I have those any more). There is a plug close enough to each window that I can put the lights on a timer. This feels like a year that needs more colorful lights to cheer myself and others.

How is everyone feeling? Is Charmion completely snowed in? Shoveling the walk might be a good job for the youth who lives nearby and wants to save up for I forget what he wanted. We haven't heard from Linn for a while but she usually has someone come plow her driveway. Our late friend gnu used to post photos of his New Brunswick yard and driveway with snow up past the garage roof. Do you have snow, Dorothy, and I hope you're staying in for the duration (or until roads are plowed and walks shoveled). Meanwhile, no snowing, just mowing here in Texas.
