Going back to DaveRo's question regarding the 'index' feature, the only CD I've seen it on is a best of Steeleye Span compilation. On the track Bach Goes to Limerick, there is an index point where the tune proper starts (about 1 minute in). That's the only one on the entire CD though. As far as I remember, my late '80s CD player displayed the information, but didn't allow me to do anything with it.
