I don't think you'd be singing things like "Make the Yule-tide gay" or "Hang a shining star upon the highest bough" if the song were about Epiphany on January 6, Doug. Regrettably, I had to sift through all the awful lyrics of the damned thing to pick out those adorable snippets... Good old Irving Berlin, eh? :-( It wasn't the only awful Christmas song of his, was it? God bless America, but just remember that this land is your land...
