So the comparison is between super-fit "gormless idiots" who are playing a highly tactical game requiring a large range of hard-won ball skills and a bunch of mostly massively overweight men charging sickeningly into each other in thick mud like demented bulls... Round here, just a couple of pubs show football on big screens, and by no means all the time, and you have choices. I like football on big screens and I like music sessions and haven't seen any of the conflict that you appear to refer to.
