Do Native Americans have a naming system for full moons? If so, are the same names used by all tribes?
A secondary link, from the article that gillymor linked to (15 Jan 25 - 08:58 AM), gives some explanation. Alternative names, used by several different tribes, are given. In fact, more than one name may be used for the same tull moon within a single tribe.
I would still like to know what anglophone Australians call the September/early October full moon.
