Further to my recent post to the BBC Radio thread, I googled one of the contributors, Dr.Deirdre Ní Chonghaile. She has written a book 'Collecting Music in the Aran Islands: A Century of History and Practice' I don't think that the book has been mentioned here. There is a review here: The Journal of Music More about her and her book on her weebly page Deirdre Ní Chonghaile Her page includes a link to an interview with her on the site New Books in Irish Studies.
