Help Me Make It Through the Store

1) I walked into my favorite store
        To buy some food and cash some change
But it ain’t that store, anymore
        ‘Cause everything’s been rearranged
They switched the meat and hid the cheese
        There’s barricades, out on the floor
I’m so lost, oh won’t you please
        Help me make it through the store

Bridge: All I see are greeting cards
        Tab-les of junk food by the door
It’s such a labyrinth, we should watch out
        For a hungry minotaur

2) New taller shelves and longer aisles
        They make it harder to explore
A wall of shelves around the produce
        No health food section, anymore

Bridge: Is this all set up to test us?
        I can’t find bread, wheat nor white
Please do help me find the lettuce
        ‘Cause I’ve been lookin’ round all night

3) This floor plan could be right or wrong
        But if I ever find the door
I’ll buy what’s on my list at Foodland (I!G!A!)
        ‘Cause it’s not Freddie’s anymore
Or maybe go and shop at Safeway
        ‘Cause I can’t make it through the store
