I used to do that - list every recording in my collection in a database, with lyrics but mainly with sleevenotes and info from a range of other sources. Just from the lyrics I'd never have guessed the background to "I Don't Like Mondays", for instance. However, I set up my own database with Q&A decades ago. Then MS went and bought and discontinued it because it was infinitely better than Access! Left me stranded, and I haven't done much listing over the past ten years. I hear Q&A was resurrected as an open source programme called "Sesame" but think it's too late for me to start again. A Wiki might be a better option ... ?
