Whoa Fred, Whitby Folk Week is fabulous and is basically split into two parts. One the organised festival in spread across the town in about 25 venues, about 700-800 individual events totalling well over 1000 hours of entertainment. In addition is the fringe which in itself it brilliant, different bars have their different followers, one bar will be mainly tunes, another mainly trad, another mainly Americana etc etc There is something for everybody !
