The Constitution specifically forbids the President from accepting any gift from a foreign government. without the express consent of Congress. Nor is White House staff permitted to accept anything, literally even lunch, from the outside. Had any previous President accepted the gift of a $400,000,000 jet he'd have been impeached and convicted. Especially if it came from the most important financial backer of Hamas. Which it does. I can hear Ms. Leavitt now: "Fake news. I can tell you with full transparency the plane is only worth $150,000,000."
