Rarely collected, but Oscar Brand recorded his similar but slightly less ribald version in 1955 as "The Sergeant." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-0Fo1lk-SY Roud seems not to know of the song, which may be descended from "The Knife in the Window" but is considerably different.
