I have been calling Trump the 'retributionist'. Today, a book was released that shows that the act of revenge is identical to drug addiction in neurological scans. It is not surprising that Trump is 'addicted' to revenge.
A normal person without clinical narcissism responds to revenge in a similar way but the positive action of forgiveness balances it out.
It seems that "forgiveness" is broken in the Trump psyche.
