The foundation repair people deny all responsibility for the torn-up state of my lawn, so the patio crew (landscapers by trade) have agreed to top-dress and re-seed the extensive damaged areas. Right now, even as I type, Jordan and his partner are levelling sand and hauling stone. Wildfire smoke from thousands of kilometres away has brought air-quality warnings to Perth County. Summer already doesn’t look good.
