The keen-eyed observer may spot that the Spira S4 guitar illustrated on Reverb (5 years later than mine) has a round soundhole; his earlier version had an oval soundhole per my picture posted above, like a cross between the "gypsy jazz" (Selmer) and round hole/folk style appearance. Not sure how that alters the sound, if at all, but it certainly makes for an interesting look! - Tony
