I'm supposed to be staying out of trouble, but stuff happens. Yesterday I was taking my newly cleaned clothes off of the wire hangers that they come back on. The wire hanger scratched the back of my hand, maybe two inches, or a little less. My skin is thinner than it used to be. I now have these adhesive strips holding the cut skin together, thanks to the retirement community nurse. They are not supposed to get wet. I was given those thin disposable gloves to use when I need to wash. It doesn't hurt, as long as I don't touch it. I feel stupid for being so clumsy with the hanger.
