Indeed…Dear Tony was always of good cheer and was always ready for a sing!
Fond memories of singing with Tony in the No Strings Attached days.
As well as folkie stuff in Darwin he was also involved with Brown’s Mart and Darwin Theatre Company, doing technical production stuff. Also played squeezebox for Gone Troppo Morris from Darwin. Chend, Noel & I caught up with Tony at the 50th Top Half Folk Festival at Mary River in 2021 and we haven’t been back to Darwin since then, however he and Chend remained in regular contact.
Very sad that he is no longer with us, but Tony has a rowdy bunch of folky mates waiting to welcome him on the other side, plus several beloved dogs including Beth the greyhound.
Our heartfelt deepest condolences to Jenny, vale Tony.????
