The Doctor Help: Are English Tapestry still about ? (83* d) RE: Help: Are English Tapestry still about ? 24 Aug 25

I posted a reply yesterday but for some reason it didn't take, so try again.
I have most of the songs you list, or at least versions of them, but would be very interested in the others. I have been collecting ET for many years, and have around 7 CDs worth of recordings. The problem has always been that Brian never considered that they, as a group of singers, were good enough to record, and only two tracks were ever made commercially, those on the Folk Review LPs. The rest are cassette or tape recordings of varying quality. The one I made is good, but Brian gave me permission to record them. He also has the rehearsal tapes he made but so far I've not been able to pursuade him to copy them. This is a great pity as there is a lot of interest in the group, but the fan base is gradually shrinking.
You can contact me through a number of websites, Peter Taylor Folksinger, John Walker Dictionaries, or Leeds Pales Volunteetr researchers. If you get in touch we may be able to arrange a swap.
