George had a bakers van . He came up from Peebles to our house at Moorfoot twice a week. My Mum & Dad were great friends with him & once when we were visiting him in Peebles The Corries were at his house. He also taught my sister yo play guitar. Lovely friendly man. I'm sure he also wrote The lyrics to the Black Douglas
